is anyone NOT weighing themselves?

Recommended Posts

I weigh excessively because it helps to keep me on track. I've always been that way. If I quit doing it, then I'll go back to old habits or just say "oh my pants aren't tight - they shrunk" when in reality, they didn't. My waist expanded. LOL!

I keep my scale in my bathroom and every morning it comes out. I have the Weight Watchers scale that's glass and digital. LOVE that thing! It was like $25 at costco.

I weigh myself once a week. I'ts tempting some mornings but I have found I like the surprise each week. I would go crazy with flucuations if I weighed myself every day. However once I loose all my weight (42 pounds to get to goal) I plan on weighing myself everyday. If I see more then a 2-3 pound gain I know I need to reverse gears. Maybe go on liquids for 2-3 days.

Howdy! I only get weighed when I go for a fill or some other dr appt. I have been measuring my progress by how my clothes fit me and/or how my rings fit me. I do not have a working scale in the house b/c I know I would determine what kind of day I am going to have by the number on the scale. I know that I also have a tendency to think..."Hey! I've lost ___lbs so it will be ok for me to eat that hot fudge sundae that has been taunting me unmercifully!"

since i bought my scale, i've been weighing myself everyday looking for lower numbers. it's like some said... like an obsession of sorts. i wanna see a lower number every morning and sometimes i do and it's great. sometimes i don't and it's a little disappointing but i try not to let it get me down. what i need to do is stop weighing and start exercising. i'm being a little slow about starting on that. i need to get moving!!!!! :)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
