I too would love to be part of a Facebook group! I am on there all the time however, I have only told 5 people in my life about my band... NOT a single family member knows and I want to keep it that way so if you all will "pinky band swear" that you won't post anything at all about it, I will add you as soon as I get home from work tonight!!! I can't risk some of my friends (and I have almost 300) knowing about this surgery.

I realized that I have every privacy setting on Facebook turned on so you might not be able to find me. I'll fix it so you can find me and I'll add the newcomers tonight when I get home from support group and dinner. I'll also look for the group at that time.

BTW - Everyone knows I'm going to have the band done. So no worries about what you post on my pages. And I'll respect others wishes to keep it private too. We are all here for each other which is what matters most.

I created a FB group for us. It is private. You can look it up on FB, but you cannot view ANYTHING unless you are a member!!! :thumbup:)

I didn't tell anyone in the beginning either and I totally understand why you are not ready to tell folks. I even had a separate FB page for band stuff for awhile. Then when people started noticing and started asking me what I did to lose weight, I just started telling people. Then I got rid of my other FB page and combined them. My Band doc is even one of my friends!! I woulld love to see you all over on FB!! Cheers!
