Making this public!!!
You have to do what works for you...there is no wrong or right in going public or keeping WLS private, it's basically up to each individual so no it's NOT silly what you did it was your choice and no one is here to judge you. I've actually watched several inspirational wls videos on youtube and picked up a few tips as well. Remain positive and you will succeed. You got this girl ✌️

It will let me add pic in gallery not profile
You will have to use a desktop computer to upload a profile picture if that's what you are referring to. For some reason it does not allow you to update via phone.

50 and Up Sleevers
Hi...I'm 52 and I may be losing a little slower than someone that's younger and I stall often BUT I am steady with my weight loss and couldn't be happier and pleased. I keep in the back of my mind what one of the posters @Matt Z stated and shared in one of his earlier post, it's the big picture. That post really left a good impression on my mind. I am so okay with my rate of weight loss because in 12-18 months I am CERTAIN that I will be at goal and living my best life. ? You will be just fine as long as you stick to your plan and try to move as much as you can ?

Anyone NOT taking their vitamins?
You really should take your vitamins, since you are not getting enough from just your food intake because we can only each such small amounts. You need calcium for your bones, teeth etc and multi-vitamin for whatever you are lacking in your food intake and B12 for energy and perhaps some others reasons...I do not think you will find anyone on this forum that will tell you that it's ok not to take them. Although almost all of us here are on plans that vary based on each program and surgeon BUT one thing that we can all agree on is that we are ALL required/advised to take vitamins and it's for our best interest. So put cha big girl panties on and just do it...It will be very beneficial in the long run. You got this love. ?

Disgusted
Your body is healing and still swollen inside, it will come off. Try not to focus so much on the scale, follow your plan and concentrate on getting your fluids in to prevent dehydration and work on your protein intake...that's very important to help you heal...Remember non of us put this weight on over night so we should not realistically expect it to come off over night and please don't compare yourself to anyone. Remain positive you got this!! btw: It's very normal to feel frustrated and it's ok, just don't stay there to long ?

I'm so COLD!
Me too! I've lost 37 lbs so far...I don't even have hot flashes anymore and that is unbelievable, wooohoooo. I was like @Liz The New Me anyone that knows me know that i liked it cold and as everyone was freezing at work or anywhere I would have on sleeveless tops or dresses. I kinda like it though LOL. I did google it and it said we are losing our cushion (fat) that we had and it causes us to basically be normal like all the other people that are freezing all the time. ? I just make sure I keep a light jacket or throw in my car. Welcome to the wonderful world of being normal size ladies ((Hugs))

Jealousy?
Admittedly I'm jealous that she seems to be putting very little effort in and seems to be doing well. I am not undermining my own progress, I've lost 120 pounds so far, and 90 alone from surgery. I have completely overhauled my diet and life. But I am still jealous of her ability to eat whatever and still lose weight. You are working hard and seem to being doing things the right way for long term success...You've lost over 100 lbs and that speaks volume. Please don't feel jealous of her but feel sorry for her because like the other posters said, her weight will come back unfortunately and guess what...those same people trying to get you to eat junk will be talking bad about her and saying that she should have been like you and turned down the junk food. yada, yada, yada...It's her life though. I know people as well who's had wls and did the same thing, never changed their eating habits or lifestyle and the weight has returned. Keep doing you, we are proud of you and here to support you. PS: You may want to distance yourself from her so as to not pick up her bad habits, be around positive people that are going to motivate and encourage you. ?

Food Before and After Photos
The meal on the right was before surgery on one of my many diets, I would eat that, have coffee with cream and a snack in between breakfast and lunch. On the left is what I’ve advanced to at 3 months PO. 1 boiled egg and 1/3 of an apple flavored chicken sausage. Completely satisfied and won’t eat again until lunch time and that’s because I’m not hungry for anything. I usually have a afternoon snack in between lunch and dinner most days. This tool is awesome!!
