  5. You're getting your feathers all ruffled up and this is probably a prankster trolling like Ed_NW said. RELAX
  6. Weight loss forum?? If we're not using drugs how could we answer that question, you should call and ask your doctor I think he or she would have the best advice for you. Good luck
  7. TMI seriously!! You should know the answer to that question better than anyone on this forum. Stupid is as Stupid does. SMH
  8. WOW!! You are doing great, your stats are excellent within 7 months. Congrats!! ?
  9. You look so beautiful hun...it’s amazing how the weight changes our looks. Keep up the good work, we are in this together and rooting each other on. Thanks for sharing your pictures ?
  10. That’s awesome @viking 0424 you’ve done really well!! Kudos to you and congrats on the weight loss. It’s our new lifestyle...we want this and we got this ??
  11. It really varies on the surgeon and how you’re progressing but average to me is 2 nights 3 days, that was my stay. For me I needed that. Congratulations on your upcoming surgery. I’m so happy that I did it ?
  12. Thank you Kathy, I really appreciate it...and thank you to everyone else. You all set such wonderful examples for me...I'm learning so much from all of you each day ((Big Hugs))
  13. It probably won't come back, I was sick a few times and lost weight and when I was better and back to my normal routine the weight that I lost never came back
  14. Hi, they sell a pill crusher at Walgreens or CVS, I crushed my meds for 2 weeks and I put it in sugar free chocolate pudding, I could not even taste the meds, In the beginning I bought chewable vitamins. It's hard at first but just do the best that you can and it will get better for you in a few weeks. Hang in there ladies ((hugs))
  15. Hi there...The surgeon I use does fills, I do recall seeing a woman there who had her surgery in Mexico waiting to get a fill. His contact information is on my profile. The office is in Lake Worth off of Congress Ave.
  16. This is such a wonderful feeling...I’m ecstatic!! I haven’t been under 200 lbs since my son was born 23 years ago. Happy tears ? The 29th has been 4 months post op for me, I’m enjoying my journey and taking one day at a time. Woo hooooo
  17. It does get better honey, I promise you and when you start seeing all of your progress you’re going to be like “what food” if the weather where you are permits take a walk to clear your mind. You got this ((hugs))
  18. Sounds like me lol but I do remember going into that cold operating room then 123 I was out...I woke up in recovery and said nurse please I need some pain meds then I was out again and just remember the nurse helping me get into my bed in my room...I like it that way lol ?
  19. It’s so true! It depends on the surgeon and I think what he/she is comfortable with...I was given a booklet at the beginning of my process but after surgery and my first post-op appointment which was six days after surgery I was told after 10 days I could start on soft foods based on how I was doing and tolerating shakes with no problem...we just have to go with what our team suggests for us...i was so happy to get off of shakes lol.
  20. I agree with you, this is a new lifestyle change and sometimes you will have some foods that are off plan and it is OKAY you’re human the key is just get back on track...my opinion is if you crave something, have a little in moderation, don’t buy a bunch to keep in the house, have a serving to satisfy you and keep it moving. No one is perfect and it’s ok to have a treat every now and then...you gotta live. You got this!! ?
  21. The first vitamins which was the chewable ones right after surgery I got from Walgreens and CVS, after finishing the chewable ones I got the pill form from Walmart and they are working just fine for me. I’m taking a multi vitamin, B12 and calcium. CVS and Walgreens always have sales so when I run out I’ll check them out. Look for sales ?
  22. We all have days of frustrations, not trusting the process or whatever it may be...let’s try and focus on the positive and be thankful for our wonderful tool. Enjoy your weekend everyone ?
  23. Congrats!! That’s awesome and this is only the beginning. Keep up the great hard work and welcome to the losers bench ??
