I haven't started working out yet. I had some complications that kept me from even returning to work until 12 weeks out. I've decided to try to reach my goal first the start working out.

Im so sorry to hear about your complications. I hope you are doing better and that things are going more smoothly for you!

I decided to wait until i am either close or at goal too. I suffer with a lot of pain that makes it hard to walk so I'm going to see if the last 50lbs will help yield more pain free results lol.

I commented on your post over on reddit, but I like this site for asking questions better lol.

First, congrats on your weight loss. Outstanding!

How many calories are in taking in per day? Any tips you would give someone who is a week and a half out, like myself?

Thank you. I'd say that I'm eating ~1000 calories a day. My only advice for a week and a half out is to follow the course and learn to address bad habits as soon as you recognize them. At 9 days I had just gotten out of ICU so I wasn't even eating or drinking Water at that point. Best of luck to you.

I do feel great even though I still some fatigue issues. Hopefully back to 100% very soon.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
