Hey everyone,

When I started my journey, my weight was 247.5 I am now 241.5 and I can't go below 241. Any advice on how to stay about the same weight?

I have my last Dr. App on the 25th and my surgery will be in November. I am nervous but excited to be healthier!

I mean, this certainly is NOT a healthy recommendation, but if you're that concerned, if you eat/drink more calories than you burn you'll gain back weight. You're 10 days away, so maybe bulk up the calories just for a few. But again - not the healthiest thing. Sometimes we gotta do what we gotta do.

I'm assuming this is to meet insurance requirements? If I have to do the 6 month supervised weight loss attempt, I will not be approved if I lose 10% of my body weight. For me, that's 27 pounds. I don't think I could lose 27 pounds in 6 months on my own. Yours, however, seems to be a very small margin. Is this to stay under BMI requirements? I'd have to lose a LOT to fall below the BMI reuqirements.

I log my food everyday, calories/carbs/fat... etc, It helps a lot and great for daily reflection. See what your normal average calorie/carb input is, and try to keep it in the same range or change things up if you want to lose more.

My surgeon got mine approved a couple months early. I had to lose 36 and I'm about at 46 and surgery is on Oct 27. If ur surgery is next month it should already be approved and shouldn't matter if you keep losing

Yes. I can't go below 40.1 I think that's what it is.

@@GBaygurl,

I'm doing a 3 month waiting period. Where I start and I have to keep it up for 3 months like exercise and then I will be approved.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
