AAAHHH I got approved...i'm very excited

and a bit nervous.

I need to go get lab work and an EKG. This is all out of pocket and i'm worried that i'll regret spending hte money (like somehow this won't work for me).

Question: How long until you felt like you were ready to go back to work after the lapband?

Congratulations!!! I cant answer your question, but just wanted to let you know I am excited for you!!

Yeah! I had to pay for my EVERYTHING! 12,600 bucks and worth it so far! 16 pounds lost in 3 weeks! Before the band I couldn't lose 16 pounds in a year! Anyways, I got banded on a Friday and went back to work for 1/2 day on Tues and 1/2 day on Wed and then I was back full time.

Congratulations on your approval. All of you guys are good but I spoiled myself and took 3 weeks. It was great because I got to take naps, go shopping when everyoen else was at work.

I had surgery on Thursday and went back to work on Tuesday (after Memorial day weekend). I could have gone back sooner if needed but I did get tired by the end of the day. Good luck and Congratulations!!

Jini, congratulations to you!!! I'm so excited for you. I was also just recently approved, and I have been having the EXACT concerns that you are expressing-what if this does not work for me? I am also nervous yet excited. Hopefully all will go GREAT for both of us. :)

It's so nice to know i'm not alone. I've been thinking about it ALOT. Now i'm pretty much set on having my surgery at the end of November. I think i'm taking off work to get my EKG and lab work done Friday. I'll miss Thanksgiving but that's still better than missing Christmas festivities in case I don't feel well.
