Dr. Aaron Hoffman - What does the timeline seem to be?

Recommended Posts

All of my paperwork is in and I've been scheduled for the December Seminar. What does the timeline seem to be from here? I am about 3 months behind where I wanted to be because some of my paperwork got filed at my PCP's office instead of being faxed over. Hopefully you guys can give me a rough idea.

Thanks!

:)

I went to the seminar in mid June, met with the psychiatrist July 7, first official weigh in at the clinic on July 7, Lost the required 15% weight from original weigh in through Aug 4th. I had to lose 15 lbs. Met with Dr Posner Aug 4th. Met with Dr Posner...again on Aug 26th and was given a surgery date. I did all the required things that they asked, ie chest xray, ekg, labs.... had to get final approval from my primary doctor, I had the lap band surgery on sept 28 2010. I have no regrets. since July 7th I have lost 40 pounds. Good luck to you. I hope this helps.

i had my seminar at the begining of august, pysch eval on the 31rst of august, fitness eval on the 4th of september and dietition on the 8th of september. I met with my surgeon for the first time on the 20th of september. I did all of my required stuff in October such as ekg, chest x-ray and bloodwork. I had my pre-op physical on the 29th of Nov along with my dietition follow up and I have my surgery on the 8th of december. i just had my second set of bloodwork done today. just enought time for the results to get back before surgery :)

It all really depends on insurance though. Good Luck!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
