Not Sure What's Happening????

Recommended Posts

I have had some issues going on the last couple of days, and I am just not sure what's going on. It started yesterday with what I am assuming was really bad gas pains. Never had gas pains before, so not really sure, but it was really sharp pains, that kind of went away after taking Gas-x, and burping. So after the gas pains kind of went away I still felt tightness, and pain in the area of my band. Actually I wouldn't really call it pain, but more discomfort. I can eat and drink just fine, but still have some feelings of tightness around the band today. I don't know if it's gas, or if my band has slipped, or if I am too tight or what. I just had a fill last week, but everything was fine until yesterday. Any ideas on what could be going on?

HI~

I just wanted to let you know that I had similar symptoms last week and assumed that my band was the problem. Turns out my gall bladder was bad and I had surgery 2 days ago to have it removed. I could also eat and drink- it just really hurt around my port area and my back. Make sure you get it checked out. My gall bladder was inflamed and full of stones- potentially dangerous and I had no idea. I always assume every little ache and pain has to do with my band!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
