On my six month anniversary of my surgery, I dropped into the 160s for the first time in 20 years. I can hardly believe it. Six months, 60 pounds, 10 pounds a month.

I am thrilled and terrified all at the same time. I have been here before. And then I wasn't. But, this time HAS to be different. This time WILL be different. I am different. This surgery has made all the difference in the world. This is no longer about food. This is about LIFE.

great weight loss! you should be very proud of yourself !

wow 60 lbs in 6 months! Perfect! What a great feeling!

I hope I will have lost 60 lbs in 6 months. Of course at first my loss was fast and now has slowed. At first it just seems so out of reach. I have a total of 114 lbs to take off.

GREAT job!!! I know what you mean about 'being here before' and being terrified. We have to believe it will be different this time...because it's been different already, hasn't it?!!! Keep it up! -BG

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
