A Little Worried

Recommended Posts

I just found out that I am preggo. This will be #3 for me. My other 2 are 12 and 8 years old. I had a lot of complications with them. It has been since March 08 since my surgery. I only have 2cc in my 5cc band I am down a total of 100 lbs since surgery. I havent lost any in the last couple of months. I still get sick a lot when I eat,,,even when eating right. Now that I am preggars I am more sick. Do you think with my past complications would it be best to go ahead and having my band unfilled. Or take it a day at a time. I dont think I am getting the nutrition that I need to keep the little one healthy.

I am sure with the Vitamins etc you are taking that your little ones health is not an issue at this point. What I would worry about is if you start vomiting. I had terrible morning sickness and have been completely unfilled since 10weeks. Yeah I am gaining weight like crazy, but I look at the consequences of a slip and am ok with that. Good thing with the band is you can start all over once the baby is born. Good luck.

If you were already vomiting before you got pregnant then you probably needed an unfill even then. so I would DEFINITELY discuss this with your doctor now!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
