new, 5 days after surgery!

hi. Well I am home recouping. This is my last day before I go back to work. I am so ready to get back to work!

For some basics on me. I am a 30 year old female. I live with 3 of my best friends.

My friends are my rocks! They are amazingly supportive! My family lives about 1 hour away and have been awsome. My mom had been suggesting the lap band for several years and I finally just reach the point that I was over living the way I was living. I went to a seminar. That night I typed up a to do list of all the diffent steps I had to do to get to today and started to check them off as I went. I posted the list in in my bedroom and it really motivated me!

I want to move to NYC next year and I know if I did not loose the weight now I would be misarable and would be missing out on everything the city offers because I would not want to walk there.

I think the past 2 days it finally hit me that I really did it! I have lost 13 pounds since July 3rd which was my 1st day of the pre-op diet! :bored:
