I was filled just a tiny bit

Recommended Posts

Only .15 cc last time. I have decent restriction and am losing a pound a week.

However, I was really upset about something last night and went home and ate potstickers and chicken teriyaki (no rice). I also drank 2 sodas. This was terrible, because usually I do the liquids for about 24 hours after my fill and then soft foods.

I'm hoping I didn't do much damage!!! It was such a tiny fill though, I'm thinking there wasn't much "trauma" to my stomach. Let's hope not!

My fill nurse says as long as nothing is going wrong with your stomach, it's okay to have solids after a fill. For example, throwing up or anything. But I do wonder why you are drinking soda, since that will cause damage to your pouch whether you have a new fill or not : /

I'm actually shocked you COULD eat that much! how did you? Even if I want to eat more (and sometimes I do...I'm human too! Sometimes it just tastes GOOD) I can't...I PB it!

I can't help but wonder if you really overate maybe you aren't as restricted as you thought and therefore are less likely to have hurt yourself? I know my logic seems convoluted but I think it's sound.

And I've had carbonation too...once I drank 3 ultra light beers! BUT it took me forever. So not worth it. Did you almost "chug" the carbonated bevs, or did you drink? did they hurt? (it almost does for me)?

Horrible to see after all this time we can still react so "wrong", isn't it?

Well I have never had a problem with soda... I just know I shouldn't drink it. It doesn't cause pain and my Dr. said that if I can drink it, it just means I need more restriction. I drink regularly, not even slowly. I feel like my band barely works... however, I will say, I am finally losing a pound a week, so I'm not going to worry about it!

I drink a little less than half a can of soda and i keep burping all the time, but there is no pain what so ever!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
