just had to post about this. i went out with my girlfriends this weekend and i just got a chance to look at some of the pictures. i almost didnt recognize myself in them. if i werent the only redhead id have sworn it wasnt me! (i put 1 up in my album for anyone who wants to look.) then i look at some pics i took in jamaica in november. what a major difference. i was so heavy, not to mention miserable. those were almost the only pics i took on vacation cuz i felt so fat. i almost cant imagine how hot ill be when i get to goal. lol

i just had to post on here. some things only my band friends understand. i am so much happier than i've been in years. i am really getting back to me. i np longer think people stare cuz im fat.i actually fel like people look now cuz im attractive. the band has given me the best gift i've ever recieved and that gift is the real ME!

You look FABULOUS! Great job. I hope that I will be as successful as you have been. I'm 3 weeks post-op. I lost 20lbs in the first 10 days and only 1-2 lbs since then. I'm only eating 500 calories a day. Sounds like I need to up my calories a bit to actually loose wight. What are your secrets?

That's wonderful. Its really nice when you occasionally get a glimpse of yourself as other see you, rather than agonising over tiny details. Its a big shock to realise you're NORMAL and ATTRACTIVE!!

Jennifer,

I so know where you are coming from. I've had some crazy moments too, looking in the mirror, seeing the woman I always wanted to be looking back. It's fantastic.

You are the same you as you've always been, just happier and healthier. Congratulations on your weight loss. w00t!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
