Dr. Cori Mcbride - New patient of Dr. McBride's

Recommended Posts

I had my first meeting with Dr. McBride on Monday. She took me on as a patient and did my first fill! YAY!

McBride and her staff were very nice. I've heard good things about her and wanted to post in her forum.

I am also a new patient of Dr. McBride's. She is scheduled to band me on August 5th. And I am VERY excited.... nervous, but excited. :)

She seems like she is very caring and I heard only the BEST things about her. I will keep you posted on how my surgery goes :)

I was banded by Dr McBride March 07. She is an amazing woman. I ended up having to be unfilled this past April due to cancer and when I went in for surgery to remove the cancer, she stopped in to see me in pre-op and even came by while I was in the hospital. She cares about all her patients. Hope to be refilled when chemo is over.

Dr McBride rocks.

We ran into a surgical complication with my first banding, and I landed back in the hospital about a week later. She was super caring and very focused on getting me better. I spend two weeks in the hospital, so I got to know her, her current Fellow, and all her staff pretty well. I even met Dr O when he was standing in for her one weekend so she could get some rest (36 weeks pregnant). I really have nothing but good things to say about her! Second band went in 10 months later - life is good.

Always ;-)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
