Dr. Holloway performed my Surgery in November of 2008. I would recommend him to anyone. He has the best bedside manner I have ever seen. You will always leave his office with a smile. You can go in feeling depressed and leave feeling happy

Hi Mona!! First off... MONA is a lifesaver and always on my speed dial! Hehe!

I was banded in Dec. 2009 by Dr. Forney and Dr. Holloway. From the time I began my journey, these people have done everything they can to make it pleasant, fast and successful. Right down to the office people!

Their research and knowlege is extensive and I am thankful for that. I will continue to refer anyone considering weight loss surgery to their clinic in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. This is not a surgery to go into lightly and they are right there to provide you with all the pros and cons, honestly.

Their bedside manner is the best I have ever seen! I will never regret this surgery or the doctor's I chose to perform it!

Dr. Holloway will be doing my surgery on Jan 22 and I can't wait. Him and his staff has been wonderful. They have made this all very easy for me. I went to a seminar in May had my first consultation in June and have probably contacted his office 20 times or more with questions and concerns. My calls have always been answered on the spot or in a timely fashion with friendliness and real knowledge. Nicole was awesome in letting me know what was needed for the medicaid approval. Got my paperwork in and approved in 6 months. A shout out to my primary doctor who first suggested the lap band. She is awesome. Mona is wonderful. They have a lap band support group that meets the first and third Tuesdays of the month.have I had an awesome pre-op experience so far and have no doubt the post-op will be the same.

So it is going on 3 months post op and I can say Dr. Holloway and his team are the best. So glad this is were I went. After reading some of the horror stories of bad surgeons and uncaring teams I know I am in good hands.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
