Mom Lambert,

That was a big question when my Husband retired earlier this year. So far so good, we haven't killed each other yet.

:ihih: Yes, I hear you! Mine went back to school (PhD in math that he always wanted) so that has helped. But, he's much more attentive and loving than he was before so that's nice. It's easy to wake up one morning and wonder who that is next to you in bed now that they are around and available after retirement. So far, so good for us as well.

Hi March people

I've been busy as a bee. Sorry that I've not checked in recently. It's nice to see everyone doing well.

I'm hanging in there as well. Exercising and trying to avoid ice-cream. Who knew I'd still want to eat the garbage this far out. Alas, it's always something.

Juli i completely agree with you... im having a especially a hard time turning down ice cream this summer... i try to keep a variety of cold fruit in the fridge to avoid snacking on ice cream it helps but doesnt work every time!!!

It's the hottest day of the year here in the Northeast! So much for walking outside today; there's a heat advisory in effect. Guess it's popping out the Leslie Sansone videos tonight in the air conditioned comfort of my home

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
