Bye Bye Food... I have a new friend!

I have come to the point in my life where I can no longer allow food to be my best friend. I will miss my life long friend, but I must move on. I have found a new friend you see, someone that I can trust and confide in. Someone that will not treat me to those naughty little late night snacks.Someone that will not be negative towards my decision for WLS. Someone that is a GOOD LISTENER!

I would like to take this moment to introduce you all to my new friend.

Welcome and what a great idea!!!! I love your new friend, has he got any older brothers?

Thanks for reminding us all that food is for fueling the body, not the soul, and that we can find someone or something to handle that part!!!

Great going, hope to see you on the boards often.

Cindy

I've no doubt that Wilson will treat you FAR better than that darn ol' fairweather friend Food ever did! Good on ya for "getting it"! You earn a bandster gold star by your name!!!

Today I accidentally stepped on a snail on the sidewalk in front of our house. And I thought, I too am like that snail. I build a defensive wall around myself, a "shell" if you will. But my shell isn't made out of a hard, protective substance. Mine is made out of tinfoil and paper bags.

Looks like yours is made out of volleyball and dirt.
