TOM and wanting to eat help please!!!

Recommended Posts

Hi all its my TOM and unlike alot of women, I am certainly not any tighter than normal. I feel I have good restriction. My problem is I just WANT to eat... I am having cravings and want to graze. I have not had any problems other than when its my TOM. I definitly notice a difference. what do u all do when u are NOT hungry, but really are craving food? ? I guess this is head hunger? or perhaps your body needs more calories during the tom? ( I heard that a long time ago)

Please let me know your own experiences, thoughts and opinion. I don't want to eat more and "fall off the wagon".

thanks in advance for your imput.

You know, this only lasts a day or two for me every month. I just go with it. I eat what I'm craving. I can guarantee 2 days per month will consist mostly of chocolate and scotch finger biscuits, drip fed at hourly intervals with no real Breakfast or lunch, lol.

It doesnt appear to have ANY impact on my weight. Women's metabolisms are much heightened just prior to menstruating and I also notice I can run REALLY fast and hard during the week before too. So I just eat what I want and then get back to normal when the cravings disappear.

I think what you are experiencing is totally normal. Happens to me every month. I just go with it. Have what you are craving just don't go overboard. You will be fine. Don't freak out you are going thru a lot of adjustments and its normal. Take care.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
