Positive Thoughts Please

I love my band. It's been a great experience all the way through. You need to realize that often people post here when they have problems (you can only say "I'm happy so many ways and then it gets repetitive, you know!) and it's good there is a place to get advice etc. But realize a HUGE portion of "bandsters" don't post because they are out busily living healthier lives.

I love my band too!! I've said all this before, but since you asked...... I had my surgery done in Sept. 08. I've lost 70 pounds, I'm off of the blood pressure meds that I took for years, I'm wearing clothes that I haven't fit into for a long time, I've lost 28.75 inches, I'm sleeping better, I have a lot more energy, and I am so much happier. Life is good and I am blessed! Take care! Becky

I've lost 65 lbs and am only 5 lbs away from a normal BMI. It's taken me 2 1/2 years and i'm feeling great.

Getting banded is definitely a difficult process. However it has also saved my life and for that I do not regret one second of it. I love my band and will continue being an advocate for the lapband system.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
