You guys are all amazing. I have not had a fill yet and on my third week. I can eat pretty much anything as long as I chew to mush. Doc is ok with it. He says heal and don't worry about loosing yet. First fill on Aug 10th.

I just tried popcorn (he said it was fine) and wow, it was awesome. Granted, it was air popped and I had only a bit, but if I was to cheat, this would be it.

I don't know about you guys, but I love going to movies. That is therapy for me. I feel so much better after a good flick. I have been taking pistachios for a snack and that has helped.

I can't wait to loose more weight. Thanks guys for your encouragement.

I confess that last week i pigged out. Yesterday i pigged out and i have been suffering. I had terrible stomach aches and now i am scared that my band could have slipped or too much food caused the pain. I had to take a hydrocodene, the pain was worse than my appendectomy. I confess that i will not cheat again, this is a hard lesson for me. No more cheating , today i am so scared that i have not eaten a single things. Only fluids.

I know I feel like I can eat more and more, but still try to keep it small. I tend to feel pressure to eat more in front of other people so they don't think anything. How do you know when you are full, is there a specific sign. I begin to feel pressure at times and I stop, but I feel that I eat a little more than what is allowed. Don't get me wrong I have been going by the book, but nervous that my mind is telling me ok to eat the food although it should be less.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
