Bunny Bandsters - April '09, MASTER THREAD #1

Recommended Posts

I'm doing the happy dance. Went to the Dr. this am. After 2 weeks of liquids, my band is back where it belongs and my pouch is not expanded. I can eat!!!!! During the two weeks, I didn't have reflux and no vomiting. I'm going to be really really careful from here on it. Although I am suffering with the reflux cough. I didn't have it before the liquids.

I'm baaaaaaaack!! So I've been a HORRIBLE patient haven't seen my Doc in years. I'm calling tomorrow to make my appointment and deal with the lecture I deserve. I'm waking up due to vomitting & coughing. The reflux is more than it should be. I'm terrified of getting "in trouble". Yes, I'm 43 and scared of being scolded. BUT I'm woman enough to admit I've screwed up & need to be better!!!

I have so much to read & catch up on everyone. Sorry to see Jay-tee having such issues.

I haven't been here is so long but I hope everything is working out for you JayTee! I use to be on weight watchers many years ago. I still have my band and I've been thinking about going back on weight watchers just to hopefully pull off those last few pounds I need to get rid of. I don't want my band any tighter than it is. Best wishes to you.

HI EVERYONE!!! well, it has been way too long!!!! 3 1/2 years since we were all banded. How is everyone???? I am good. Never got down to my goal weight, but sooooooooooo much better still than when I started. I have to get my head into this again and cut out the sweets, that is my downfall. Needed my tastebuds banded, haha!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
