sort of TGI Fridays mashed potatoes

I really like the mashed potatoes from TGI Fridays but they are very high in fat. so, I developed the following recipe:

1/4 cup chicken broth

1/4 cup skim milk

1 tb light marg

1 green onion sliced fine

1/4 cup instant mashed potatoes

1 oz reduced fat shredded cheese

in a small saucepan, melt marg.,add onions. cook till tender. add broth and milk. heat to almost boiling. remove from heat. add instant potatoes. stir with forkcover set aside 1-2 minutes then add cheese and stir to mix. let it sit until cheese is melted.

11 gr protien tastes great with baked fish as a side.

      April Surgery
      Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?

      Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
