i m having a hard time with smoking. can someone please help me? ive tried the patch twice, two different pills and gum,even cold turkey. i have been trying to quit for two years now. I have to quit now. Help.

Chantix worked for me. You have to decide what you want more....the band or a cig. I wanted the band more. I had smoked for 33 yrs ( that does not include 2 yrs that I had stopped before then started again.) I haven't even craved a cig since I stopped this time. Chantix didn't seem like it was helping me. Then 1 day on the 2nd pk of pills I woke up and did'nt want any cigs. I threw the pack I had away and all the ashtrays except for 1 (for people who smoke) all lighters and matches, all trashed. But everyone is different. So good luck.

I forgot to mention that I had done 2 other meds, the patch (smoked with it on) and the gum and lozenges.
