OK I got another email from him - I am cutting out most of it! - but he does say

"I liked your picture. You looked really nice in that dress! Thanks for sharing it."

Why is it that we can't see ourselves as other see us, even after we have lost 100+ lbs/half of our former selves? All I see in that pic are my rolls. I can't believe I even wore it!

I also can't believe how LITTLE you guys are eating!! Here's me, I definately win the biggest eater contest!

Breakfast - 1/3 cup raspberries, 2/3 cup blackberries, Decaf soy slender latte

Lunch-2 cups spinach with 1 hard-boiled egg, 1/2 cup lowfat cottage cheese, 4 pickle spears.

Snack - another decaf soy slender latte

Dinner - 2 pieces of cod, 4 huge slices of grilled eggplant, 1 oz. sunflower seeds on 1 cup sliced cucumber, 2 tbs. Peanut Butter.< /span>

Snack - 2 hard boiled eggs and 1 tb. peanut butter.

Oh well at least there was no bread, LOL!!

Jess - remember I have 7 ccs in my band so I have pretty good restriction - what I ate for dinner was a lot for me. I usually try to have 1/3 of Protein per meal and that is usually all - I rarely eat vegetables or fruit. My problem is snacking in between - because I have the restriction I can't eat more at a meal, but I get hungry in between lunch and dinner and the head hunger hits in the evening. This is a really hard thing to wrap my brain around - harder than I thought it would be.

Riley the one thing I did not notice were rolls so get that out of your mind. Go back a take a look at any other holiday picture you took over the years.

I'm with you on the amount of food I don't eat a whole lot but I still eat more than a 1/4 - 1/2 cup. The one thing I do know is I feel my band. I don't feel like I'm gonna PB or anything I just feel like I've been socked in the chest.

Thanks Jes. I know I look better, the thing is that the boys I meet now didn't know me then - so I feel like I have to look "better than normal" rather than "better than I did last year." Does this make sense to anyone?

Oh well off to the gym :-)

I do understand what you mean Riley. I have recently met a bunch of new men and women who are over 40 who I did not know before I lost the 70 lbs. Some of them are overweight and some are not - but I don't feel I look "good enough" amongst the group - I know it is all in my head and low self esteem - especially since the people in the group are mostly pretty average looking. Will we ever get it out of our heads? For me the weight obviously wasn't my only issue.

On a happy note - a guy came out and replaced my windshield this morning in the parking lot at work - only took him 40 minutes - one less thing to stress about.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
