Christmas Goals

Recommended Posts

Let's see, I had to get half of my entire fill taken out like 3 weeks ago and have had the ability to eat whatever I want. So far I've gained 2 lbs total. Which isn't bad. I got half of the half put back in on Thursday, which puts me up to like 4.8.. I still don't really have any restriction though. lol. And I get another fill the week after xmas. So, my goal is to just maintain what I have right now. And not panic. I didn't get a slip or anything, I just developed some type of sensitivity to the band and kept bringing everything up even when I wasn't tight. So, to be safe, my doctor wanted half out.

Originally my Christmas goal had been to be 220 .. lol.. yeah, that aint happening. oh well, I'm still happy :-)

Thank "god" for another fill. I had 0.7ml put into mine on Tuesday and thankfully I have a good restriction. Let's just say I am not making much progress with my stir fry beef and vegi salad I just bought.

I had been able to eat anything I wanted for quite a long time (months) but had only put on .5kg which is good considering I have eaten myself stupid on jelly lollies. I know naughty me.

I would like to lose another 2 kilos before the end of January. Considering I have been on plateau for many months that may not be achieveable. But I am thinking positively and with this last fill am going to do it!

Good luck everyone.

Pah..2kgs before the end of Jan..

I did that over the weekend! (see "horrible experience" post).

Unfortunately the loss was due to being blocked, but I still lost. Hope I can capitalise now that my restriction is near perfect.

OUCH Peek! Hope you are doing ok.

My original post was I hoped to maintain (as I anticipated losing was not going to happen). WEll, now I am in the 'hope not to gain TOO much' camp...bah! :smile2:

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
