WW TV dinner & Lean Cuisines

Recommended Posts

I will be banded in a couple of weeks. As someone who doesn't like to cook much or have time, Would the Weight Watchers dinner & Lean Cuisines make a good dinner choice? I thought that would give me the opportunity to get Protein & veggies in one meal of moderate side with limited Pasta (they don't fill me up now).

I also use the Lean Cuisine and WW meals for lunch. It is hard to find them without rice or Pasta. I just eat the Protein and veggie and leave the rice or pasta. Some of my students love that though, they get extra lunch!

I LOVE LOVE the spaghetti with meat sauce. It has a good amount of Protein and I eat all the sauce/meat and about half the Pasta. I eat that for lunch like, 4 days a week.

One day I had a turkey dinner and ended up burping for about 6 hours afterwards. So I have only stuck with the spaghetti. But I do find in general those things don't taste very good anymore. Be careful with the microwaved meat. It can give some people problems. For the cost of the meals it's probably not really worth it, unless there are one or two that seem to have high enough Protein and low enough calories AND sit well in your stomach.

I have tried a few others and dumped them out... they just aren't that good to me anymore....except that darn spaghetti! I buy like 5 at a time!

Yep, I definitely use them. Of course fresh food is favored, but they're very convenient and often a good balance of Protein and carbs. Like the rest, I usually can't eat a whole one. I love the Healthy Choice lemon fish. I always get 2 meals out of it -- sometimes 3. Great side of broccoli and a tiny dessert that makes me happy, all for under 150 cals, the way I eat it.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
