What are you eating?

Recommended Posts

I need help with my diet. I have no idea what I'm suppose to be eating. I'm not losing any weight. I lost 8.3 pounds last month by living off of slim fast, Soups, tuna, yogurt, pudding and TV dinners. I tried to do the same this month and I gained a pound. I don't get it. I'm really starting to lose faith in my band. I have great restriction, almost too much I think. I have 8.5 cc in my 10 cc band. I go back to the doctors on the 19th and will talk to him about this then, but until then, someone please help me.

One thing I noticed right off the bat is that you are still eating a lot of mushy type foods. Things like tuna, yogurt, and Soup can easily slide through your pouch. You need to eat grilled chicken, fish, ground beef or turkey and more solid like foods. They will keep you fuller longer because they will collect in the pouch and not slide through as quickly. I can't imagine why at 8.5 cc's you are not losing. You may be eating high calorie Soups. I would suggest making sure you get a little exercise in everyday. Maybe you need an unfill to allow you to eat more solid foods without getting them stuck. Don't give up. Keep in touch with your doctor and nutritionist.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
