coughing and reflux

Help! I had reflux that caused coughing all my life. After being banded Jan 08 it settled down after 5 weeks and went AWAY! Last month I had a fill that was too much, had 1/2 cc removed and all was great -for a week. The cough has escalated now and I cough all the time. Take Protonix, gaviscon. I am okay while standing during the day, but as soon as I eat and sit, I cough a LOT!! Sometimes until I gag and spit up. Anybody have problems such as this? Please help. I just had an upper GI. I am working through this with my doc.:rolleyes2:

SUSAN, I' m having the same trouble. When I lay down I

cough and cough I feel that I will drown in my musen so

I spit it out. this go's for quit awhile. I finally fall asleep.

I been doing this for over 5 months. Loretta
