K so, yesterday I thought I piggggged out. I had an egg for Breakfast, then half a grilled chicken breast (with a tbsp. of ranch for lunch), a serving(?) of cheddar popcorn, for dinner I went to this country kitchen place because it's that time of the month and I'm craving home cooking like crazy...I had 3 mini corndog bites...about the size of a silver dollar from my b/f's plate. few bites of mashed potatoe, and about 4 small bites of country fried steak. Then we went to TCBY and I got a pint of ice cream and ate a lot of it but I'm proud to say I had the will to stop and put it away. Anyway this is a LOT more than I usually eat(thanks cravings!) but I was certain I was going to gain weight and I ended up dropping a pound after not seeing the scale move in a few days....go figure...

WOW! I don't call that pigging out! I think you did well and you shouldn't be so hard on yourself. I wish that is all I ate when I pig out..LOL! Keep up the good work

Wow, the same thing happened to me last week. The scaled had not moved for a couple of weeks! I think we totally confuse our body and it doesn't know what to do. If you have been strict for a while, your body might be thinking "hey, maybe she's not starving herself". Hopefully, we can keep those "pig out" days to a minimum. Good Luck!

The plan works MUCH better when you mix it up. You also ate a lot of Protein. That puts you in ketosis. You dont want to do that all the time, but it helps when you mix it up occasionally.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
