Sex addiction?

I have been dealing with a whole new issue now that I am well on my way to goal of being at 145lbs. I used to weigh 240. That was just last March. Now i weigh 177. I am not at goal yet but I am starting to feel like this will happen. When I was heavier I kept my urges to myself because I felt gross and not at all sexy. Now I feel a LOT sexier and I am wanting sex a lot. I feel like a pervert. My husband is thrilled but sometimes I feel like hes thinking "Does this girl wanna screw all day long?" I really dont but I am wanting to do it more than 1 time a day. I have also been fantasizing about other men, and having my husband watch. We even rented a video that had a girl giving 3 men head at once. He told me he liked that. I realize that these feelings come from not feeling wanted for so long. Its kind of scarry. I know my husband doesnt want to actually go through with the sexy thoughts and fantasies. He told me so. Not that I would want to really go for that. I am happy with my current sex life. I just feel like I have woken up a sleeping sex pervert(Me) Has anyone else had this issue?

Hormones are stored in fat cells. The more fat, the more hormones. When you burn fat, the hormones are left and become out of balance. It takes a while for all to restabilize. It will happen, it just takes time.

Oh No! Say it isnt so! I kinda like the new me:wink2:

Hi everyone im new at this site, but i have to say its very intrusting to hear about how weight loss changes your sex life! For ME:tt1::biggrin: it has ben much better just the confidence that comes with afew pounds lost,i have only lost 20 but already feel the diference in my attitude towards sex and my self image. Its great to feel like a woman again. Thanks for a wonderfull topic. Love sexylips!!!!!!!!!!

My husband is hoping that it will happen that way for me. But he know that is not the case. I agree with the previous post, my hubby thought I was a knockout before I started loosing weight, so now he is even more happy. Sex has ben a real issue in our marrage though since I had a compelete hysterectomy 6 years ago. I don't want it at all really, but the hubby is still a man.....any sugestions for that? I think I am just broken to!:rolleyes2:

sorry to hear about your past issues. its a tough situation since your husband is a guy and is going to need it....maybe think of other ways to "do it" he will be happy.

Hi everyone. I'm pre-op, so no personal experience yet, but it was really funny because at my psychologist told me that after I lose weight, I might become promiscuous!

Yeh the whole sex drive thing increases tremendously!! I've lost 60 lbs so far with the band and my boyfriend was telling me he was tired...I wanted to have sex several times a day and he didn't mind but got a little exhausted after a while. I am not sure why it happens but it does.....and yeh it can be scary, I know I caught my self comtemplating certain fantasies and talking to the BF about it and he was a little confused because I used to be so not up for anything new...I wish I knew why it happened so I can at least control it a bit. lol

yeah same here all of a sudden im horny all the time i mean i sit at work going omg i need some now we had a threesome we have some live with us and we have a relationship with her and when i got my sex drive back omg it was good i love it

We talked about this (addictions) in one of our support groups. It was really on target, we are trying to get one addiction under control and another pops up, so we mentally are looking for something to replace our old food addiction with. The phsycologists said this is perfectly normal. We just have to treat it like that food addiction to be able to keep it in check. Sometimes we give in, sometimes we have the willpower. So to Speak. But yes, I think it has to do with the tetesterone in our bodies. it is a good thing, yes. Burn more calories. Add that to a CPap machine and deep sleep, and the dreams are all night long. We have two teenagers in the house, so our alone time is few and far between. Unable to be as spontaneous as we would like to be right now. So things just build up and etc. We all know how that turns out. I am almost 11 months out down 62 lbs. and loving my band....
