  1. I agree....we are working through the trouble spot. Hard to ask a 20 something man to slow down the "needs" that nature gives him.
  2. My husband is hoping that it will happen that way for me. But he know that is not the case. I agree with the previous post, my hubby thought I was a knockout before I started loosing weight, so now he is even more happy. Sex has ben a real issue in our marrage though since I had a compelete hysterectomy 6 years ago. I don't want it at all really, but the hubby is still a man.....any sugestions for that? I think I am just broken to!:rolleyes2:
  3. I would love to be touch with others in Colorado. I am still trying o learn this site, so I may be slow at first. But hey I am out here!
  4. Hi Pickles...I am also new at this site. I had my surgery with Dr Snyder in May. Good luck with your decision..kepp in touch.

  6. Carrie - Hi, my name is Alexis. I was banded in May with Dr Snyder in Denver. I was pretty nervous about the mental health issue as well, but I had to keep in mind the big picture. I was diagnosed as bi polar about 13 years ago and have battled with it. Before the diagnoses I thought it was just depression. But on a positve, I just wanted you to know that your not alone with that fear. And I am 6 months out and feeling better about myself that i have in I can't tell you how long. Just hang in there and you to with get there!
  7. I did get really emotional before. It was strange for me because it went so fast. It only took about 3 months from the first seminar to my surgery. It was crazy fast, so I had a hard time gripping onto it. But now that I am almost 6 months out I feel a lot better. I think it is just replaced with other emotions though. Keep in touch with me and let me know how your doing.:wink2:
  8. I am from western colorado....
