I'm pretty sure it was HeatherO who suggested the Livestrong.com site, where you can use the daily plate function and track your food.

I'm completely addicted to this...it's free and will look up all your foods and keep track of your Protein, calories, etc.

I highly recommend this site to all banders...it's helped me keep some semblance of control during the last two weeks since the band and feeling like I could do some damage to a #1 Burger King combo

Ok I am TOTALLY hooked on that site! I hate "journaling" but it's, uh, fascinating? I think I'm gonna love it!

Your right guy's this is a good one - I tried a couple of the other that were suggested on this site - but find the dailyplate to be easier.

Tracking makes all the difference in the world. There are so many good sites out there. I still use fitday.com primarily because it was my first and has sooo mucchhh history on it now, it is hard to leave.

I also use the daily plate. It makes all the difference. Guessing at calorie intake isn't going to work. Also by using the daily plate you know how much sodium, Fiber, fat & Protein your taking in.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
