Alex what a nice site to post on - it is really like another parents one I used to post on all the time. You have done a wonderful job and I love being part of anything new, so this is great for me.

If at anytime you need any sort of help my email is glenda6@hotmail.com.

I love to chat also perhaps we can organise a regular time on here for everyone who is interested (time zones are complex I realise).

Once again, as we say here in Aus - "Good on ya, mate" !

Glenda

Alex, I am due to be banded next Tuesday 29 July here in Sydney Australia. I lived in Albuqerque NM for the best part of 2000, my partner is Canadian.

I do market research and look after my 14 month old, and spend an hour or two on the internet everyday - part work and part making friends from all over. I seem to get along better with you guys - but I of course I have my Aussie mates too.

Anything else you would like to know???

Glenda

Of all the bulletin boards I have been looking at this is the best I've seen. Everything seems to be here. I was wondering how to send a personal email to somebody, and was going to ask you about it. Then I looked at profile underneath the post and there it was. Nice Job.

Leo,

I had it enabled but it only allowed users to add it after 5 days of registration and 5 posts. I just changed that to 1 and 1.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
