And if you watched The Office last week, Kelly tried the tapeworm diet :cool2:

aha...I saw that. That was great.

"My doctor told me to gain weight."

"No, if you gain weight you will DIE."

Hah hah ah.. I love The Office.

Kelly:I swallowed a tapeworm last night. It's going to grow up to three feet inside of me and then it eats all my food so that I don't get fat. And then, after three months I take some medicine and then I pass it. Creed sold it to me. It's from Mexico.Creed:That wasn't a tapeworm.

I'm still seeing ads about pills and such on here...

Karen’s Diet

is one of them. Annoying ads.

Okay guys, something funny happened today and I just had to share it with you! In class today I was talking to a classmate and told her she was looking good, loosing weight, etc (this is a phys ed class) and she looked right at me and I swear said, "I think I have a tapeworm". After my initial surprise and trying not to bust out laughing, I asked her why she thought that. Keep in mind this girl is very young. She told me she could feel it "swirling around in there". I told her it was probably gas. She was adamant that it was a tapeworm. I couldn't believe we were having this conversation especially after reading this thread just yesterday. Too funny!!

Hah Hah.. I actually knew 1 person who had it when I was growing up. She was older than me by a few years, a church friend.. she was very large.. and she disappeared for a few months.. came back skinny, knock-out, and all the guys wanted her! She said it was a tapeworm, and I was like "You're so lucky!"--I was about 13 then. She told me how miserable it was, she was hospitalized for a month I believe, ended up a year behind in school, etc.

So.. tapeworm diet does work!

Out of respect for pregnancy, and LJM and FF....I will avoid a vulgar "vagina + cakewalk" joke. You're welcome. Leave all tips in the tip jar, plz.

I generally see the world through vulgar colored glasses.

How low-key, or how too much, just depends on the location and alcohol consumption.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
