Hey RPF..I am really glad that you are doing well and adjusting.. I know it is going to be a shock to me when I start loosing me.. I have been over weight all my life, but not as major as I am not until after I had my son.. I put on about 120 lbs after I had him.. I dont know if it was hormone changes or what... But It sucked to gain that much.. I did put it on over 7 years so at least it was not all at once, but I am glad to be taking it back off now and I am looking forward to living a healthier life to be here for my son and hubby and self and family.. I am very thankful to Dr. Dietrick and his staff and all their help and support.. We are very lucky...

You are doing great.. keep us posted on your progress. It is always good to see success :) Makes you feel there is a light to go to :rolleyes2:

      Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?

      Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
