Anybody approved through BCBS of NJ POS

Recommended Posts

I am just taking the first steps in having the surgery. Going to a seminar on September 11, 2008 through realizeband.com with Dr.Alexander D. Abkin. I am having the feeling that get insurance approval is going to be a nightmare. I have gone through and read a few of the other threads about BCBS and feel the approval process is sometimes a breeze for some and sometimes a pain for others. Just wondering if anybody with the POS plan has been approved and what your experience was like?

Has anybody contacted the NJ Insurance commisioners office to complain and advise them of BCBS stalling and see what they can do to help?

I am getting a little ahead of myself but can anybody tell me what the procedures/steps are after the seminar?

Thanks for any opinions or advice.

Hi, I have BC/BS of NJ PPO. I was approved in less than a week. Dr. Abkin's office is amazing at getting insurance approval. The office staff knows exactly what to do. Good luck.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
