Anyone with problems vomiting?

Recommended Posts

I had an adjustment today 7/31. Got banded in March. Three days ago I started to vomiting, everything even Water, I thought it may have been a virus: but not for certain. I felt fine this morning, no vomiting, then I had my adjustment this afternoon and every since I got home all I have done has vomited. Any one have any solutions. thanks

Vomiting is serious in that it can cause slippage. I would go on all liquids and see if you can get some anti-nausea/vomiting medication. Definitely call your doctor in the morning.

Did you mention to your doctor that you have been sick over the last few days when you were in for your adjustment? If so, what did the doctor say?

Yes, the doctor knows I have been vomiting. He call me in some meds for it, but this afternoon I have been vomiting it up as well.

I would let your doctor know right away that you're vomiting up the meds. They can give you Phenergen in a suppository form so you won't vomit it up. Vomiting should be avoided at all costs (not that it's something you're happy to be doing, I know). My doctor gives his patients a standing prescription for anti-nausea meds to take if we get a stomach virus or anything like that. Good luck!

I can't believe he would give you a fill if you have been vomiting. That just doesn't sound right. I would, quite honestly, call him and talk to him.

is it possible you have too much redtriction. I too have been vomiting up everything since my last recent fill. however its from everything getting stuck because I do not have any nausea.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
