Has my band slipped again?

Recommended Posts

Hi. I've had my band for over a year now and about 4 months ago I had my band slip due to travel, stress and constant throwing up in a span of 2 weeks. anyway, that has been taken care of and i haven't had any problems until I travels about 2 weeks ago. I've been throwing up off and on, trying to just eat Soup, but today I've started throwing up bile like i did when my band had moved. Should i call my doctor or go to the emergency room? or see if it improves?

Thanks for your help.

Ladies (and Gents) PLEASE PLEASE do not waste a moment of time posting here if things like this are happening to you, call your doctor or get to the ER straight away!! This is not a good thing, if you are throwing up constantly it is not a good sign!!

1) You could be to tight

2) your band could have slipped

3) you could have the flu and need some anti-Nausea medication

4) or something else is wrong and we just don't know

Please please call your surgeon explain to them what is happening or go to your local ER before you post your health is more important then some ones opinion on what we might think is wrong.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
