Entering the 2nd week. Struggling a little with hunger. Ideas for 2nd week liquids would be so welcome. As I understand it (correct me if I'm wrong), I can have skim milk. Can I have these things: V-8 juice, Yogurt smoothies (store bought), the smoothies from the recipes on this site, campbells Soup at hand, other Soups put through a blender (?), milkshakes (made with skim milk and sugar free ice cream). Any ideas would be so appreciated.

NSV - Put on a pair of pants yesterday that fit me before surgery...but yesterday, they were just too big! I had to keep hiking them up!

Happy July 4th Everyone

You have a great list. I have already done the Soups and blended them in the blender and they were great. I am still full of gas I don't have that I lost and can tell yet. I mean 19lbs was alot but most of my clothes were cotton and stretch so maybe that's why I can't tell.

Good luck hope people come along and give great ideas!!!

Good for about your pants--what a nice feeling!

I was banded June 23rd and I also ate applesauce(I bought the ready to eat in cups, and they also have different flavors summer stawberry and harvest peach) and mashed potatoes (I bought instant Idahoian 4 cheese--yummy). 1 cup filled me up for dinner/the evening. They both worked fine. I also got some Italian Ice cups & sugar free popscicles. Good Luck & Happy 4th!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
