Kirshenbaums patients, how much in how long?

I am being banded by Dr. Kirshenbaum in less than 3 weeks, and am just curious how much his previous patients have lost and how long it took them. Any replies would be appreciated. Thanks!!

I have been a very bad girl. Eat wrong stuff all the time. But I have still averaged 1 pound per week since December 08. Hey, I'll take it! I never lost 1 pound a week before. If I actually did what I was supposed to do, I'm sure I would be losing any more. Dr K is so great! You have made a great decision on your surgeon.

I was banded on 1/2/08 and I am down 57 pounds, I only have abt 20 to 25 more to go. Like Brandy I was a lower BMI. Best of luck to you on your life changing journey.

Thanks for your replies everyone!! I was just going through a panic "did I pick the right surgeon?" mode. I feel much better about it today, and from hearing about all your successes. Thanks again!!!

You'll love Dr. K. He's great. And the nurses at the hospital said he's the best. He's very particular in how he wants things done and I find that to be a very comforting feature in a surgeon

Good luck on your preop diet. It was really easy. Oh, go to GNC and buy a bottle of Isopure. Some people don't like it but I bought the mango/peach and it's really good with lots of Protein.
