4 month progress pics featuring my sassy new hairdo

Recommended Posts

Got rid of the long straight blah hair this last weekend. Part of the new me. Tomorrow is my 4 month bandiversary. So without further ado, here's my progress pics.

Ignore the serious, silly face - sun was in my eyes and hubby didn't warn me - LOL

Ezma:

Great new doo! I've noticed that alot of us cut our hair shorter once we've lost some significant weight.

Congratulations on your 80 pounds too!

Thanks so much everyone! I know I still have quite a ways to go but I'm so excited with how far I've come already. I look in the mirror and think how much I've changed in the last few months. It's like I don't recognize myself except that I do....it's the old me coming back.

You looking great! Thank you for sharing. You can really see your progress in pictures. I encourage more members show us their before and after pictures. I really enjoy it. I need to do it myself. One of the members in my support group suggests taking a picture once a month in the same spot and putting it in a book to see your progress. She also measures herself once a month.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
