Weight watchers - Anyone else?

Recommended Posts

Thanks for everyone's input! I really appriciate it. I am going to sign up for WW today. I think being held accountable and having a weekly weighin will help me greatly.

I don't think seeking extra help is a sign of failure, just another measure to help me get to my goal. Afterall, if it was easy to loose weight none of us would of had to have the band.

If anyone else is doing WW would love to chat/email pointers and tips.

Also, in case you havent heard there is a website called Hungry Girl (fitting huh?) and they have a new book out. She takes receipes from resturants and makes a healthier version and includes the ww points in all of them.

Best of luck to everyone in their journey!

WW is wonderful for a lap band patient !!

I initially l lost 90 pounds before the birth of my bouncing baby boy:)

Now , with a good fill and my WW tools on board I am ready for round two!!

I use WW E-tools and have attended meetings on and off. I believe balance is important to success with the lap band. Physical activity is also essential for weight loss.

Do I feel depressed some days about my baby weight??

Heck Yes!!!!

Do I wish I would have ate less junk???

For Sure!!!

Do I love myself and know I can do it again ???

Absolutely :rolleyes2:

** Since April 1rst I have already lost 16 pounds**

Good luck to you all !!

Hello everyone

Glad to see this thread. I've been a yo-yo dieter most of my adult life. WW has worked well for me. Most recently I lost 70 lbs, then gained back 80.

I was just banded on 5/21. My surgeon recommends WW combined with lap band because WW teaches healthy lifestyle. I was hoping there would be other WW people here!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
