During plateau's I've been counting on some other changes in my body to keep me modivated. Well I'm at one of those plateaus right now. So...

I have enjoyed seeing my wrist bones... LOL, and getting up and down much much easier... also I played basketball with my kids and I love playing sports so that is a small start.

I love being surprised at how great I look whenever I glimpse myself in the mirror. I love that I take the time to put on makeup now. I love that I get to develop my own style based on what I like as opposed to what is available that fits me.

I enjoy the energy I have now. Oh, and my hair is longer...not from growing but because the fat on top of my shoulders has decreased!

Grab your tape measure....whenever my scale would quit moving, the inches dropped off. I have no idea how or why--but they did, and I took it!!! LOL!!!

There are so many from collar bones to being more bendy (flexible) because my big giant belly was in the way, and now it is not.

My neck is thinner. I had a fat neck. Who knew?

Keep track of these things. They make you happy when the scale stops moving. ;0)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
