Counting down the hours now!!!! I am so excited and nervous about being banded. I am being banded tomorrow (the 15th), have to be at the hospital at 9 a.m. :smile2: I just started the liquid diet this morning as directed. Thanks everyone for all your advice and information. It won't be long and I too will be counting the hours to having my surgery on April 21st. I started this whole process in August and have had to jump thru hoops to get this far. I'm a bit nevous about the surgery, but excited about finally getting on the road to getting healthier.

I found this web site when researching about the Lap Band and I have to say that all of you have been so great. I have been able to get on here and answer any questions that I may have had just by reading what all of you have written.

I just want to be as happy as all of you are with your decision to get the Lap Band. So if I have any concerns or need some suggestions you will be hearing from okay!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
