Oh my...We had bad storms today in North New Jersey and the large pine tree in our yard fell on my hubby's truck, my son's car and my company car.

It is amazing who showed up from the fire department, EMS and the Mayor. What a tole it takes on you....

All of our friends and family came today and cleaned up the mess. Hopefully the insurance company will pay us quickly.

To get out and destress I actually did my 6 mile mountain trek today. It actually helped me work out some anger!!

Jody, that's great that the cleanup is done already! It sounds like you have an awesome group of family and friends.

Well, one small benefit of this mishap is that between the cleanup and your trek, I'll bet you burned some serious calories today :smile2:!

I did a one hour hike today.

Have a great night everybody!

Hey Daddy, Welcome Back!!! We missed you!!! Glad to hear you had a great time -- what part of Florida were you in?

BTW, did you notice that while you were gone, another thread was started regarding our "Eve" (aka lady at the top of the page)? It seems as if most people feel the same way we do about her.........

Hello All, wow a lot has happened in here! It's spring break and I can finally breathe! I updated my ticker, finally! I"m in the March challenge. I've been working out regularly and walking the dog about a mile a day! Made it to the gym this morning and it felt great!

OK, I'm in...

I'm still hooked on the treadmill. I'm up to 40 minutes/3.1 miles. I walk 2 minutes at 3.8 mph, then run 3 minutes at 5.0mph. I can now push my jogging speed to 6.0 mph--heck, I sprinted the last quarter-mile at 7.0 mph last week--but it makes my diaphram/band area sore INSIDE my ribcage. I think it's a combination of the underwire and the weight of the Double D's pressing down.:eek:

I'm built for style, not speed, baybeeeee!:sneaky:

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
