I'm doing fine (Female stuff)

Recommended Posts

I'm home, Today I went in and had a D+C. Dh is a real trooper, he has me settled in at home. He needs to go out and handle a service call, but I have A pepsi (I'm not banded yet) and pain pills at my side. Teen age kids are home now to. I was told to take it easy and stay off my feet for two days. Everything went pretty well, no fibroids or tumors but tons of unexpected tissue. Dr told husband we will talk options in two weeks lasar treatments for starters, We'll cross that bridge then. Meanwhile I feel pretty good. Thank-you for your support. I really hope none of this will interfer with getting the lap band I have no date yet we are still going through the preauthorization process.

Shamrock, glad that went well and no serious problems were found. Take it easy for a bit and let the family spoil you.

My D&C wasn't as painful as having my period every two weeks with killer cramps and heavey flow. (I'm a space alien with multiple chambers in my uterus. When I got pregnant with my son, all the extra chambers acted like they were preggers too...)

P.S. I had 2 D&C's myself and neither one was painful. I think the only thing that was hurt was my pride. (had to have them due to miscarriages)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
