Has anyone used Dr. Lublin in Santa Monica, CA?

Recommended Posts

I was referred to Dr. Lublin in Santa Monica by my insurance company,

Blue Shield HMO. After I got my referral for the surgeon consultation, everything went pretty fast. I saw the surgeon on 12/20, finished the tests, etc. by the end of January and now my surgery is scheduled for 3/31. This has all gone much faster than I anticipated. I've been to a couple different websites like this one looking for any mentions of him, but so far nothing. I was just wondering if anyone has been to him for WLS.

I just started the process, but from your last post it seems you should have been banded by now, what do you think?

Dr Lublin is my doctor as well. I Come all the way from Victorville but I've met with him only once and I liked him. My primary dr said the LapBand is a piece of cake over the gastric sleeve. The nurses at the surgery center say he's an awesome Dr. And not to worry. I'm leaving it in Gods hands. I get banded on Monday after waiting almost a year for everything. I'll let you know how it goes!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
