Dr. Aaron Hoffman - Lap Band done in Buffalo, NY (Dr. Hoffman)

Had my LAP BAND done on 11-26-2007 in Buffalo, NY at Buffalo General Hospital by Dr. Aaron Hoffman. I've have had no problems what-so-ever and the support from Dr. Hoffman has been FANTASTIC. He is the BEST doctor ever! I would recommend anybody from the Buffalo, Rochester, NY area to have Dr. Hoffman perform the BAND! GREAT DOC!

Geeez BG, you got me hoppin' from site to site...whew, im tired......LOL:lol:

My drain is no longer filling up, but the fluid is draining out of the whole where the drain goes in. Is this ok? I guess as long as it is draining, but it is kind of messy this way.

I just did the sleeve. Had the band two years ago but was choking a lot. Had the sleeve Monday, and am full of energy today!!

Hey Judy,

I have'nt seen you here in a long time. Congrats on your Sleeve:thumbup:

Eeeewwww that sounds messy. I hope it's alright, you should probably call and ask to make sure its draining ok.

OMG Judy, Where the heck have you been for 2 years, it is totally normal that the fluid leaks out thats why you gotta keep it covered and change the dressing everyday..welcome back, long time no hear.....i remember choking down some soup with you at altons when we were newbie sleevers LOL....congrats to you and your new sleeve.....:(

Hey Val,

I'm curious to know how much you usually eat at breakfast, lunch and dinner? What does a plate usually look like for you. Do you find you need to snack in the middle of the day to get your calories in? What foods give you a hard time digesting?

Thanks:smile2:

rain,

you just cant switch. the insurance companies are starting to approve it if you are experiencing a prob with the band

bg i eat very little...about 3 to 4 ozs. breakfast is usually a cheese stick or a little yogurt or cottage cheese. lunch is usually soup or tuna and dinner is fish. im still on 1 protein shake per day. i sometimes will have a snack, just depends
