Anyone Like Popcorners?

Recommended Posts

These are a new treat/snack I found by watching grocery haul videos on YouTube. They're like tortilla chips or potato chips only healthier, made with "popped corn" and come in a variety of flavors. I liked this flavor, the queso, but I like the original Sea Salt flavor the best. I like more plain things. I've included photos both of the front and the back nutrition label. Maybe a little high on carbs, but on WW the points are good for the serving size.

I've had the ones they had at Aldi awhile ago (different brand, but same idea - chips made with popped corn (they were called Flex Popcorners, I think) - plus they had added Protein (I think 10 grams of protein per serving (22 chips - 130 calories)). I think they were a seasonal item since I haven't seen them lately. I liked them. I didn't eat them every day -- just occasionally when I wanted something crunchy and salty. I just made sure to work them into my daily calorie range. (i"m several years out and don't worry about carbs anymore - I mostly just focus on protein and overall calories at this point)

I love pop corners, so I only get a small bag once in a while. They're a real slider food for me - they don't fill me up at all!

@catwoman7 I have some pop corners flex, and I like those, but not as much.

Not sure I understand what differentiates them from regular chips? The nutrition facts are nearly identical. In fact, Doritos have slightly less carbs, for those that watch that.

A better option might be something like Quest chips, as they have significantly more protein:

I've had them and they taste good but they're pretty much empty calories and dangerous because they're not filling at all.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
